St. Patrick's Day Trivia
Capturing a leprechaun is good luck, because he will grant you three wishes in order to regain his freedom. Don't forget to ask for gift certificates to our fantastic BBQ restaurant in Clive!
Saint Patrick is famous for introducing Christianity to Ireland in year 432. Can we start a movement to initiate a St. Wobbly Boots Day for introducing outstanding BBQ to the Midwest?
Each leaf on a 4-leaf clover represents something: the first stands for hope, the second for faith, the third for love, and the fourth for luck. According to Wobbly Boots lore, however, they take on different meanings. We believe that the first leaf stands for BBQ chicken, the second for Wobbly Boots Wings, the third for smoking hot brisket, and the fourth for baby back ribs!
Blue (not green) was originally the color associated with St. Patrick's Day. You may want to wear green when you come celebrate with BBQ at Wobbly Boots Roadhouse, though, or you'll risk getting pinched by the St. Pat's Day fanatics who are not as knowledgeable as you.
According to one estimate, there are about 10,000 regular 3-leave clovers for every 4-leaf clover. If you happen to find one of these fabled lucky charms, don't forget to congratulate yourself by heading out to Wobbly Boots to celebrate!
Until recently, all pubs in Ireland were closed on St. Patrick's Day to honor the religious origins of the holiday. We don't know about you, but we're certainly glad they saw the potential for a GREAT time on St. Paddy's Day... The bartenders at Wobbly Boots Roadhouse have all the ingredients for a FANTASTIC party this weekend.
