At Wobbly Boots Roadhouse, you won’t believe the number of sandwiches we have available to suit your cravings. We've become well-known for having the best BBQ in the Des Moines area, but there's more to Wobbly Boots Roadhouse than just that type of savory meal. THE WOBBLY MELT
Our Farm boy burger cooked to your liking, placed between two slices of toasted sourdough, with American & Swiss cheeses, crispy bacon, sautéed onions & homemade honey mustard. DELISH!!

WOBBLY STYLE CLUB
Hickory smoked ham, turkey & bacon with lettuce, tomato, Mozzarella cheese, avocado, mayo served between 2 pieces of sourdough toast.

WB CHICKEN
Our all white chicken breast, charbroiled to perfection, topped with our double smoked ham and Swiss cheese on a toasted bun with a side of honey mustard.

BUFFALO CHICKEN

An all white chicken breast, breaded & fried to golden perfection, smothered in chipotle buffalo sauce and topped with crispy bacon and pepper-jack cheese.

CATFISH BLT
A southern-style catfish filet coated in seasoned corn meal and fried to a golden brown. We serve it on a ciabatta roll with bacon, lettuce, tomato and chipotle mayo.

BRISKEY
Our tender slow smoked brisket & our delicious turkey breast with pepper jack cheese and a touch of bbq sauce on a toasted bun. Delicious!

BRISKET GRILLED CHEESE
Our tender brisket generously layered between two slices of thick sour dough, BBQ sauce, sautéed onions with good ol American cheese.

PRIME RIB MELT
Succulent, house-smoked shaved prime rib topped with Swiss cheese on grilled sourdough bread. Served with our house-made horsey sauce on the side for an extra kick!

FAMOUS TENDERLOIN
An Iowa tradition! This generous cut of pork tenderloin is tenderized, hand-dipped in buttermilk, and then breaded in our seasoned flour and bread crumbs. As big as the plate...We are proud of this one!!!

HILLBILLY CUBAN

Our house pulled pork with smoked ham, melted Swiss cheese, pickles & our own Jamaican jerk sauce served on a double toasted bun.

TEXAS 2-STEP
Smoked beef brisket with smoked sausage, drizzled with our house recipe BBQ sauce, served on two slices of golden Texas toast.

All of these Down Home Sandwiches are served with one of our home style side dishes, or you can choose to substitute a garden salad, cup of soup, half-order of onion rings, or a half order of Texas fries for a small additional charge.

The Perfect Way to Unwind - Happy Hour at Wobbly Boots Roadhouse!

We all need a break once in a while, and some weeks, more than one break is necessary! Specifically for that reason, every Monday-Friday from 3-6 pm we host the best Happy Hour in Des Moines. When you've got great people to hang out with, delicious drinks to enjoy at a great price, and plenty of TVs playing all the games to distract you, your worries will begin to fade away, and Wobbly Boots Roadhouse knows how to distract you in all the right ways!

Why We Love Happy Hour
There are lots of reasons why a good Happy Hour will improve your outlook on life. For one thing, it's a nice change from being stuck at work, and it can even make your job seem easier to handle if you invite a few co-workers along to get to know their fun side a little better. Once you work a visit or two to the Boot's Happy Hour into your regular schedule, that work week will seem to fly right by!

You might be surprised to learn that studies have been done which showed that spending time enjoying the company of others relieves built-up tension and lowers the risk of depression. Even if you don't know anyone when you get here, you're very likely to go home having a few new friends to add to your list. The staff is always friendly, and our patrons are always awesome!

If you fully take advantage of the entire Happy Hour, that means you're still at our Des Moines BBQ restaurant at 6 pm, which is the perfect time to go ahead and order dinner. You're already here, and the fact that you don't have to cook when you get home is an additional reason to be happy! If you've got a family at home to feed, order dinner for everyone to go to surprise them with. When you do that, the happiness goes home with you too!

Happy Hour at Wobbly Boots BBQ isn't going to solve all of your problems, but it will give you the relaxing and enjoyable break you need to get back to real life. New Delicious Additions to the Wobbly Boots Roadhouse Menu

We're sure that all of you have your "go-to" orders when you visit your favorite BBQ restaurant in Des Moines, but just when you thought we'd given you all the deliciousness you could handle, we come up with even more! Recently we've added some new mouthwatering dishes to our Wobbly Boots Roadhouse menu. You've simply gotta come in soon and give a few of these (or better yet all of them) a try!

Wobbly Wings Sauce Flavors
We've still got our classic wings sauces of BBQ, Dijon Hot, Jalapeno Garlic, and Chipotle Buffalo, but now you can also get your mouthwatering Wobbly Wings coated in Jamaican Jerk and Habanero BBQ!

Boneless Wings
Hand breaded fresh to order. A bountiful amount of all-white chicken breast cut into strips and fried to golden crisp perfection. They are available plain or tossed with any of our Wobbly Wings sauces, and they are served with your choice of bleu cheese or ranch dressing sauce.

Graziano Sausage Bites
Iowa's own Graziano Italian Sausage mixed with red peppers and cheddar & pepper jack cheeses. We then hand roll and add a light breading, then quick-fry to a golden perfection. This is served with chipotle ranch.

Basket of Homemade Cornbread
A basket of delicious freshly baked cornbread muffins served warm with a side of honey butter.

Jamaican Jerk Shrimp Wrap
Grilled jumbo shrimp with bacon, lettuce, tomato & cheddar-jack cheese, plus a touch of our homemade Jamaican jerk sauce, all wrapped up in a warm tomato basil tortilla.

Wobbly Melt

Mac & Cheese Burger
Finally, our number one burger of the week is on the menu full time! Yup, our Black Angus burger cooked to your liking, covered with our homemade mac & cheese and topped with cheddar jack, then served open-faced on Texas toast.

Mushroom Swiss Burger
Our famous burger topped with a bountiful amount of sautéed mushrooms & Swiss cheese.

Brisky
Our tender slow-smoked brisket & our delicious turkey breast with pepper jack cheese and a touch of house recipe BBQ sauce on a toasted bun. Delicious!

Sausage Philly
Our house-smoked sweet Italian sausage with sautéed green peppers and onions, topped with melted Swiss cheese and served on a toasted ciabatta.

Brisket Grilled Cheese
Our tender brisket generously layered between two slices of thick sourdough with BBQ sauce, sautéed onions, and good ol' American cheese.

Texas 2-Step
Smoked beef brisket with smoked sausage is drizzled with our house recipe BBQ sauce and served on two slices of golden Texas toast.

Hillbilly Cuban
Our house-pulled pork with smoked ham, melted Swiss cheese, pickles, & our own Jamaican jerk sauce served on a double toasted bun.

Jalapeno Garlic Shrimp Dinner
8 jumbo shrimp gently sautéed in our Jalapeno-garlic butter until perfect and then served with a side of Jalapeno-garlic butter.

Enjoy Our Delicious Flatbread Creations For National Pizza Day

National Pizza Day falls on February 9, and you can celebrate right here at Wobbly Boots Roadhouse in Clive with one of our amazingly delicious flatbread creations. People have been making flatbreads to enjoy for over 5,000 years. We've taken that tradition and proven that the best BBQ restaurant in Des Moines can also make a fantastic flatbread!

Most pizza is made from yeasted flatbread and typically topped with tomato sauce and cheese, then baked in an oven, sometimes with additional toppings added. Flatbread pizza is generally made on a thinner, crispier crust using lighter toppings and sauce that is most often not tomato sauce. The best part about our recipes is the fact that most of them contain our mouthwatering, hickory-smoked meats!

Crab Rangoon
Wobbly Boots' own crab rangoon filling slathered on our flatbread pizza crust, topped with our 5-cheese pizza blend and then finished with fried wontons and a sweet chili drizzle. Always a customer favorite!

B-L-T
We start with our thin flatbread pizza crust, spread our homemade cheese sauce on that, add our 5-cheese pizza blend, and then top it all with smoked ham, bacon crumbles, lettuce, & tomatoes. It's deliciously drizzled with ranch dressing before serving.

Buffalo Bacon Chicken & Jalapeno
Our flatbread covered in our chipotle buffalo sauce and topped with grilled chicken breast, bacon, & jalapenos plus our 5-cheese pizza blend and finished with ranch dressing.

BBQ Brisket
Our homemade BBQ sauce spread over our flatbread pizza crust and topped with slow-smoked brisket, red onion, and a combination of our 5-cheese pizza blend & cheddar jack cheese. An outstanding flavor that can't be beat!!

Spinach Artichoke Chicken
Our homemade spinach artichoke dip generously spread over our flatbread and topped with a 5-cheese mozzarella blend, chicken, diced tomatoes, and finished with Parmesan cheese.

Reading those recipes is enough to convince you that our family-friendly restaurant in Des Moines knows how to do more than just great BBQ. Of course, tasting these culinary creations is an even better way to know that the next time you're craving pizza, we can cure that hunger!

We've got some great appetizers to enjoy before digging into your flatbread from the Boot, and they also go great with one of our fresh side salads, or better yet, share a flatbread and one of our meal-sized salads with a friend. And of course, if you're over 21, nothing washes down pizza better than an ice-cold beer! We've got all of your favorites in bottles, plus 18 taps which include some of Iowa's best craft beers.
