Jason Brown
Jason is an Iowa-born native, originally from just three miles outside Pella. He has entertained hundreds of thousands of fans across the Midwest, and their support along with his love of music has helped him to produce some amazing songs. To date, he has put five songs on the Billboard and MediaBase Country Charts. Jason has also had the privilege of performing with some of country music's leading artists, including Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry, Little Big Town, and many more.
Jason's grandmother was the first one to notice the potential for his voice at the young age of four while he was singing along with everyone at church. She took the time to help him discover and develop that voice sitting at the piano. Both gospel music and traditional country music had a large impact on him, turning him into the singer that he is today.
Moving to Texas at the age of fourteen with his mom and brother, Jason toured with his church youth group, singing throughout Texas, Arizona, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Georgia, and Florida. A few years later he returned to Pleasantville, Iowa to live with his dad. That's when he began touring the Midwest fair circuit. He has fronted many different talented bands, learning from each and every person that has crossed musical paths with him.
Jason has grown a broad and loyal fan base with songs that combine equal parts musical and vocal excellence and a love for all things Midwest. Sometimes he performs backed by a full band, other times alone with just his voice and his guitar. This Friday night, January 27, 2017, Jason will be playing an acoustic set on the Wobbly Boots Roadhouse stage with Greg Valentine beginning at 9:00 pm. If you'd like to hear a preview of what you can expect, head on over to JasonBrownCountry.com and have a listen.
Dale Blue
You may have caught Dale Blue on our stage earlier this month. He shares a hometown with the Lake of the Ozarks Wobbly Boots Roadhouse, but they don't mind sharing him with us occasionally!
Dale spent a portion of his musical career playing gigs in high-end hotels where they required him to play current popular songs while wearing suits and tuxedos. He absolutely hated it, and after suffering through three years of 5-6 nights a week of that torture, Dale promised himself - Never again! He made a vow to never play somewhere he didn't want to be or perform any music that he didn't love.
Today, wherever you find Dale on stage, he'll be smiling from ear to ear, singing an incredible combination of blues and rock. As for his attire, he earned the nickname "The Barefoot Entertainer" because he prefers to perform comfortably without any shoes on! He's not the only one having a good time. Dale's humor and aura of fun is contagious when you see and hear him play. He loves passing around the tambourine and inviting the members of the crowd to join him on stage.
If you make your way down to mid-Missouri, you can find Dale playing regularly during the summer at the waterfront bar he co-owns in Linn Creek, MO, called The Fish & Company. He also has a talent for writing, and sometimes offers his outlook on various subjects for LO Profile Magazine at the lake. Come by the Boot this Saturday night, January 28, 2017 and check out this awesome entertainer for yourself.
