Try Something New
If you're really wanting to make some changes in your life, you can't keep doing things exactly the way you always have. We're sure you have a Wobbly Boots BBQ favorite dish that you order all of the time, but we've got an extensive menu full of delicious options.
You can start small and try something similar that you've never had before, like a different wing flavor or the Burnt Ends in place of the Pulled Pork. If you're feeling a little more adventurous, give some of our non-BBQ menu items a try, like the Crab Rangoon Flatbread or our Catfish BLT. You just may discover a brand new favorite!
Reconnect With Old Friends
You've probably got WAY more friends on Facebook than you actually see on a day-to-day basis. Some of them may just be acquaintances, but what about whats-his-name that you haven't seen in person for years? You were best buds at one point, but it's been a long time. Invite your old pal to meet you at the Boot to reminisce about the good times.
It could even be a close friend that lives within miles of you, but you just never take the time to get together. Good friendships aren't always easy to come by. Make the time to meet up with the people that really matter.
Make New Friends
The only way to find a friendship that is worth putting the time into is to get out and meet people. Swing on by Wobbly Boots after work and join us for Happy Hour every Monday-Friday from 3-6 pm. You're sure to meet some like-minded people to strike up a few interesting conversations with. Are you a sports fan? Then come on in during all the games and meet a few fellow fans to cheer with. Our friendly staff makes everyone feel at home, which makes for a great atmosphere to meet some wonderful new people.
Save Money
Joining us for Happy Hour is also a nice way to save some money on your favorite beers and mixed drinks. We've got 18 taps, and many of those feature some of your favorite local Iowa brews.
If you're looking to save some money on food instead of drinks and you've got young children to feed, we've got a couple of special days just for you. All day every Tuesday plus Sunday evenings after 5 pm, kids eat for free! Some restrictions may apply, but our servers will be happy to answer all of your questions about it.
Get Organized
If you're needing to get your life more in order for 2018, start with getting some important dates down on the calendar. This is the first step in making sure you remember when all of the good stuff is going on so you don't miss it. For example, write down every time your favorite team is playing so that you know that's an evening you'll be at Wobbly Boots Roadhouse for lunch or dinner, watching all the games on one of our 17 TVs.
Next, write down any birthdays, anniversaries, or other special events happening in your life. Now you'll know which days you should call in and order some delicious refreshments for the party from the best caterers in Des Moines.
What are your goals for 2018? Come on into our Des Moines family restaurant and tell us all about it. We'll be open our regular hours on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, playing all of the holiday weekend sports and serving up all of your favorite food and drinks. 2017 was pretty amazing, but 2018 is going to be even better!
