We're still the same awesome Wobbly Boots Roadhouse that you've come to know and love, we've just fancied it all a bit! Our Story

If you don't know the story about how we made our way to Clive, then you've got a pretty good read waiting for you! This page clues you in on how Wobbly Boots BBQ was born at the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri, but we're raising this sibling restaurant right here in good ol' Iowa. We are not a chain, we are family.

Menu

You can read all about every mouth-watering menu item that we have for you before you even get in the front door. It's a good thing too, because we've stuffed this menu so full of the most amazing dishes that it's going to take you a little while to come to a decision.

Bulk To Go 

The next section of our website will take you directly to our catering menu. If you have a meeting full of hungry people or a big group at your home that needs to be fed, we'll cook something up for you to pick up and take to them. If you order is over $100, we have 24 hours advance notice, and you are within our delivery area, we'll load up your order in that handsome Wobbly Boots Roadhouse delivery van and bring it to you. 

Private Parties

We love it when people want to share their celebrations and get-togethers here with us. Let us know you are coming and we'll make sure to reserve a special spot for you. If you have a group of 25 or larger, you can reserve our private party space. Here you can order from the menu or take advantage of our in-house buffet, prime rib dinner, or platters of chicken wings, bacon wrapped shrimp, vegetables, fruits, and even dessert.

We serve our salads like we serve everything else - FRESH and with GENEROUS portions! All of our salads are available with Ranch, Chipotle Ranch, Fat-Free Ranch, Bleu Cheese, Honey Mustard, French, 1000 Island, or Italian dressing. Choose your favorite from our three signature salads:

The Garden Salad

It's a crisp blend of greens topped with cheddar-jack and Provel cheese, tomatoes, and red onions. Simple and delicious!

Cowboy Cobb

It's the KING of salads! We generously top this chilled bowl of crisp greens with smoked ham and turkey, crumbled bacon, hard-boiled egg, avocado, tomatoes, red onion, cheddar-jack, and Provel cheese. It's definitely a full meal on its own!

Chicken Tender Salad

Can't decide between salad and chicken? Now you don't have to! These mixed leafy greens are buried underneath tomatoes, red onions, cheddar-jack, Provel cheese, and (last but certainly not least!) hand-breaded chicken tenders. If you like things on the spicy side, feel free to ask for your chicken "buffalo style." You can also substitute any smoked meat for the chicken at no extra charge!

Smoked BBQ Chicken

All of the flavor with fewer calories! This flatbread features hickory smoked white chicken tossed in our house BBQ sauce on top of mozzarella and Provel cheese, topped off with a few red onions. And believe it or not... it tastes even better than it sounds!

Wobbly Boots Roadhouse is known for more than just great BBQ - our burgers are some of the best in the Midwest. All of our burgers are 100% hand-pattied black angus ground chuck, cooked on a flat-top iron and served on a fresh kaiser bun. Pickle, lettuce, tomato, and onion are available upon request.
